The Annual Meeting of the PSA was held at Nevillewood Country Club on Tuesday, November 14, 2021. It was entitled Harvest of Harmony, and43 members and three guests attended.
Cathy Trombetta announced that PSA Symphony Splendor Garden Tour netted $52,231.10, and this year’s PSA Sweepstakes netted $75,887. She thanked everyone who worked on both fundraisers. Cathy also reported that she has heard from a number of people who would like to participate in the Garden Tour next year.
Sue Breedlove talked about Oktoberfest which is being held on October 7, 2021, at Teutonia Mannerchor. President, Diane Unkovic, presented Melia Tourangeau, CEO of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, with a check for $141,985.00 from the PSA for the 2020-2021 year. Melia gave a PSO update.
A PSO String Ensemble composed of Irene Cheng, Kristina Yoder, Laura Fuller and Ally Thompson entertained with beautiful music.
Tables were decorated with chrysanthemum plants, and colored leaves were scattered over the tables. Nevillewood Country Club provided wonderful service.
“It was so good to be able to see everyone and hear what the PSA will be doing this year,” said luncheon chair Thea Stover.
