Nature’s Wonders

Once again, the Symphony Splendor committee has persuaded some of the most beautiful grande dame homes in the toniest sections of Shadyside and Squirrel Hill to open their gardens and patios for its second annual tour.  Cottage gardens, walled gardens, sweeping patios with stunning swimming pools, gardens structured with trees as sculpture, landscapes that blend with surrounding woodlands, tableaus rich in color and texture where wonders never cease.  One such garden features a 20-foot tall totem pole! There isn’t a single wallflower among them and most have never been open to the public before.

To benefit our world-class Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, tickets to the self-guided tour, rain or shine, are $50.00 on-line.  Or $60.00 on the day of the event.  Registration check-in at the Mansions on Fifth Hotel, 5105 Fifth Avenue Shadyside.  Air-conditioned bus transportation available to all gardens at an additional $45.00 in advance.  Seating is limited.

For additional information and ordering tickets contact the pittsburghsymphonyasociation.org and order your tickets on the PSA secure website. Or call 412/392-3303.
