We will have another Orchestra Appreciation on Thursday, May 14, 2026. For those new to the PSA, Orchestra Appreciation is a way to show our PSA musicians how much we love and appreciate them! We provide a lovely spread of food for them to enjoy during one of their lunch breaks at Heinz Hall. It takes place in one of the practice rooms. It is very unusual in the symphony world to have access to professional musicians. This is one of the perks of being a PSA member!
Cheryl Mohrbacher and her team will take the helm of this event again this year and they will need lots of help with preparing, delivering and serving food that day. Cheryl will provide enough soup and salad for the entire orchestra. We need for members to offer to make other sides, such as macaroni salad, potato salad, coleslaw or some type of dessert. You will be feeding 100 people so perhaps several members could get together to provide large quantities.
Participants need to be at Heinz Hall by 12:00 through the Stage Door on Penn Ave. The guard will direct you to the rehearsal room upstairs. Please call Cheryl with info on what you can bring by May 10th. Volunteers are encouraged to mix and mingle with the musicians. The musicians love the PSA!!
