Benefits of becoming a concert subscriber to the PSO

Fantastic Savings

PSA members receive a 25% discount on Mellon Grand Classics (MGC) and Pops Subscriptions. Plus, subscribers also receive a 15% discount on additional ticket purchases to MGC concerts, PNC Pops, Highmark Holiday Pops or Fiddlesticks family concerts and 10% on tickets to select Orchestra Specials. MGC subscription packages start at 7 Concerts, up to 20 concerts.

Flexibility

Exchange your subscription ticket for any concert if your schedule changes. The PSO is expanding its exchange policy for all subscribers. You can now exchange between Pops, Classics, and Specials. The price may increase depending on the show but it will be less than the single ticket price.

Want to take a friend? Move a ticket from one concert and have two tickets to another.

Choose Your Own (CYO) subscriptions right away instead of waiting until closer to the start of the season. There are a few important things to note about how these differ from our usual Classics and Pops subs:

  1. The per-ticket price is higher than a regular sub. CYO prices are 10% off of the single ticket price

i.e. the price we charge to non-subscribers. The PSA discount does not apply to CYO subs.

  • The seating will vary and will be chosen later than full subscription seats but still before the general public on sale.
  • They are not renewable. You will not automatically be rolled into the next season in the same seats.
  • The minimum number of concerts is 3 and there is no upper limit.

Best in Customer Service

Season ticket holders have a designated Patron Services Representative(PSR) who personally takes care of all your ticketing needs and answers any questions. PSRs know your seating preferences, will help with ticket exchanges and seating upgrades and are there for you should you misplace or forget your tickets.

Priority Seating

As a subscriber, you have priority access to your current seats when renewing, and priority over the general public on all seating within your series.

Guaranteed Parking

Purchase parking in the garage across the street from Heinz Hall for just $16 per concert, $18 for non- subscribers.

Pre-Sale Opportunities

Purchase Pittsburgh Symphony special concerts before the general public.
