Spring Hat Luncheon

Luncheon Chair Lisa Earle chose her theme, “Busy as a Bee,” to reflect both the season and PSA’s activities this year, and the theme was repeated in the table centerpieces that Jackie Scanlon designed featuring straw skep beehives and sunflowers.
On a beautiful spring day we motored to Fox Chapel Golf Club where we visited with fellow Pittsburgh Symphony Association members during the social hour preceding lunch.
We welcomed our guests and introduced them to our PSA friends
Diane Unkovic conducted the business meeting during which WQED’s Jim Cunningham was given a PSA membership in recognition of his service to our projects, and Neill Stouffer and Cathy Trombetta announced upcoming events.
Six beautifully packaged baskets of hearts’ desires were offered for the silent auction
And a PSO String Quartet–Ellen Chen Livingston, violin; Cecee Pantikian, violin; Charlie Powers, cello, and Marylene Gringas-Roy, viola–performed music by Hadyn, Vivaldi and Mancini for us.
